01 - 16 Medjool dates, pitted
02 - 4 oz fresh goat cheese, softened
03 - 8 slices bacon, cut in half crosswise
# How to Make It:
01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
02 - Using a small knife, carefully make a slit in each date and remove the pit if not already pitted.
03 - Fill each date gently with approximately 1 teaspoon of softened goat cheese.
04 - Wrap each stuffed date with a half slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick if desired.
05 - Place the wrapped dates seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
06 - Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, turning once halfway through, until bacon is crisp and golden.
07 - Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
